The unlikely hit of the summer will be released on DVD December 21. Napoleon Dynamite, an independent film, was released in theatres this summer to rave reviews and stayed there for an impressive six months.

The DVD, presented in both widescreen mode and full screen, features some surely hilarious extra features: the ?Wedding of the Century? epilogue, ?Making of the Wedding of the Century? featurette, commentary by Director/Co-Writer Jared Hess, actor Jon Heder and Producer Jeremy Coon, five deleted scenes, still gallery photos and MTV on-air promos.

Napoleon Dynamite is not to be missed.
