The first season of Boy Meets World had people reluctant to admit they enjoyed a show that should appeal to just a tween audience.

By the second season, released on DVD in late November, people began to realize the show was more than just an average family program, it dealt with important issues in a comical way (love, abandonment, violence). People were no longer afraid to admit they were in love with Boy Meets World.

The second season sees Cory, Shawn, and the gang enter high school. Aren’t they a little young for high school? Probably, but suspend your beliefs.

We also meet Harley, the school bully, and his gang, Joey and Frankie; as well as Mr. Turner, who will play an instrumental role in Shawn’s life.

The second season is also where Corey and Topanga realize they can be more than just friends.

The show lives on in reruns, but the new kids on the block might be hesitant to watch a show “so old.” They don’t know what they’re missing.
