Ashlee Simpson will begin touring in March, presumably with a live microphone.

The pop-rock singer, whose debut CD sold more copies in its first week than any of her sister Jessica’s albums did in the same timeframe, will visit about 25 cities in two months.

And who knew that preparing for a tour could make you money? Simpson is being followed by a crew from MTV and will show how the tour came together in the second season of The Ashlee Simpson Show.
