The cast of Seinfeld had no luck with sitcoms after the show ended, but the cast of Friends is hoping for different results.

Matt LeBlanc already has seen success in Joey, a spin off of Friends, and now Lisa Kudrow is hoping for a similar fate.

Kudrow will star in an executive produce a sitcom for HBO.

She will play a former sitcom star attempting to revive her career in “The Comeback,” according to the AP.

HBO has signed on for 14 episodes.
