Miri Ben-Ari’s album finally has a release date set. The “hip-hop violist” will release an album, appropriately titled “The Hip Hop Violinist,” on March 22, 2005.

Guests on the album include Mya, Scarface, Fabolous, Lil Mo, Joe Budden, Twista, Pharoahe Monch, Anthony Hamilton, and Kanye West, who produced several tracks.

Ben-Ari was featured on many tracks off West’s album, and toured with the rapper-producer on his last tour. She has also worked with Wyclef Jean, Britney Spears, and Jay-Z.

The first single, Sunshine To The Rain, featuring Scarface & Anthony Hamilton, is now out.
