It’s not an illusion. Harland Williams has been in every Hollywood movie in the last few years. Well, almost. His resume includes Something About Mary, Wag the Dog, Dumb and Dumber, Rocket Man, Half Baked, the Whole Nine Yards, Sorority Boys, and Freddy Got Fingered. “We can’t forget Freddy Got Fingered,” he says. We’ll never let anyone involved forget about Freddy Got Fingered.

His cousin, Kevin Hearn is part of the Barenaked Ladies, the band which has sold million of albums worldwide.

So why would they put their respective careers on hold to record an album together and tour as a duo appropriately called “The Cousins?”

“You never know,” says Williams. “It might make us bigger stars than we already are.”

“Or littler stars,” adds Hearn.

The Cousins spoke with andPOP recently in Toronto. Watch the interview to hear them speak about their new album, why they decided to record together, and more. Plus, Williams gives an update on his acting career and Hearn talks about the Barenaked Ladies’ TV show deal with Fox.
