British hip-hop sensation Ms. Dynamite was arrested in London on allegations of assault, according to MTV.

She turned herself into London police on Friday and was released on bail. She allegedly assaulted someone at a restaurant on Sept. 17.

Dynamite, whose real name is Niomi McLean-Daley, is scheduled to return to a London police station in November.

She won UK?s prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 2002, and two Brit Awards for her debut album, “A Little Deeper.”
