The prince of R&B, Usher, picked up four American Music Award nominations, Dick Clark and company announced Tuesday.

Outkast and Kanye West were each nominated three times.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the show, which will air on ABC November 14.

Ten artists were nominated twice: Alicia Keys, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Gretchen Wilson, Jay-Z, Norah Jones, Jessica Simpson, Prince, Toby Keith and Sheryl Crow.
