Ludacris Donates Earnings to Hometown
Note to Bill O’Reilly: Ludacris isn’t that bad. When he isn’t rapping about the high life with scantily dressed women surrounding him, Ludacris is busy being a charitable man.
He just filmed a commercial for Boost Mobile with Kanye West and The Game and plans to donate all the money he earned to his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.
“Now people can finally associate my name – and hip-hop – with something positive,” he said.
The Ludacris Foundation, the United Negro College Fund and the Chicago State University Foundation will all benefit. Ring tones with the artists’ songs can be downloaded, and fees will be donated to those companies.
This is the first endorsement deal that Ludacris has been a part of since being dropped by Pepsi two years ago. Bill O’Reilly, the enraged television host of the show with his name in the title, rallied in a sense for the cola company to drop Ludacris. He was upset with Ludacris’ lyrics.
