Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron was injured on the set of a movie she is filming, but her handlers are not saying much more than that.

Production on the movie was suspended until she recovers, which reportedly could be as much as six weeks. The movie was filming in Germany but Theron flew home to Los Angeles after she was injured.

The movie, “Aeon Flux,” an adaptation of the MTV animated show, will see Theron playing Aeon.

A publicist for the film said she suffered “No cuts, no broken bones” and she thinks “it was something less tangible than that. Something vague and nagging.”

Some reports say Theron injured her neck while performing stunts. One report says she hurt herself while dangling from a wire, while another said she fell while jumping on a trampoline.

She was scheduled to promote “Head in the Clouds,” which opens September 17, but that could be in jeopardy. She was also supposed to appear at the Toronto International Film Festival, but that too is doubtful.

The South African-born Theron won an Oscar for her role in “Monster” last year.
