Michael Jackson to Boy’s Mother: You’re a Liar!
The mother of the boy who accused Michael Jackson of molesting her child was ordered by the judge to appear in court.
Jackson’s lawyers told the Santa Maria judge, Rodney Melville, that the mother cannot be believed under any circumstances, including under oath on the witness stand.
The lawyers asked the judge to order her to appear in court, instead of issuing some sort of statement. This way, they will be able to cross-examine her.
She is due in court, as part of a pre-trial, September 17.
Jackson’s lawyers have said that the boy’s parents are lying and want to bring down Jackson and make some money off of the pop star. His stepfather said Thursday that he asked Jackson for money in exchange for a videotaped statement saying Jackson is innocent and did not sexually molest their child at his Neverland ranch.
The property manager of Neverland, Joseph Marcus, said in court that police searched parts of the ranch that were not listed in the warrant.
