Judge Fines Michael Jackson Attorney $1000
Michael Jackson’s attorney went too far in his questioning of the alleged victim’s psychiatrist, so the judge fined him $1000. In court Tuesday, Brian Oxman tried to get Dr. Stan Katz to admit that he is also the doctor of a private investigator in the case.
“Bradley Miller is a very special patient of yours, isn’t he, Dr. Katz?” Oxman asked in court, surprising the court room.
Rodney Melville, the judge in the Santa Barbara case, agreed when Katz replied that he could not answer the question because of doctor-patient confidentiality.
The judge wanted him again but Oxman kept pushing. He then fined him.
Jackson did not show up in court like he did on Monday.
