Michael Jackson was not injured when he was arrested for child molestation, according to a state attorney general’s report. The report found that there was no evidence to support Jackson’s claim that he was manhandled and mistreated during the arrest in November.

Jackson told 60 Minutes shortly after the arrest that he was bruised and had to receive medical treatment.

Jackson’s attorneys claim that they never made a formal complaint to the court about the arrest and they did not request an investigation. Meanwhile, a sheriff, Jim Anderson, said he was not allowed to answer questions, under court order from the judge.

The California Bureau of Investigation interviewed 163 witnesses. They took 2500 hours in their investigation to find out nothing happened.

Several media outlets reported the results of this investigation last week, but Anderson made it official today at a news conference.

“The findings of the attorney general’s investigation have provided a clear vindication of our personnel who were involved in the arrest and booking of Mr. Jackson,” he said.

Jackson pleased not guilty to several child molestation charges. He is out on $3 million bail and his trial is scheduled to start January 31.

Jackson showed up to court one day last week in Santa Maria for a preliminary hearing. He was not required to attend, and did not attend hearings the rest of the week.
