800 pounds of human waste was dumped into a Chicago waterway, and reports indicate that it may have come from the tour bus of the Dave Matthews Band.

The attorney general of Illinois sued the band, fronted by the South African Matthews. The waste reportedly fell on a tour boat filled with people (who will never ever be the same). The city seeks $70,000 in damages.

Stefan Wohl, the band’s tour bus driver, allegedly violated state pollution laws. But a spokesperson for the band said, “Our driver has stated that he was not involved in this incident.”

The incident allegedly occurred on August 8 as the tour bus went to pick up the band at a hotel. The excrement fell through a grated street into the river, just as 100 people on a tour boat crossed under the bridge.

According to the Chicago Sun Times, the band is willing to send DNA samples to prove the human waste is not theirs.

Earlier this year, a similar incident happened with the tour bus of chart topping rapper Twista. The human waste poured into the street.
