Ashlee Simpson Tops the Chart Again
Ashlee Simpson wanted to get out of her sister’s shadow, and now Jessica is in Ashlee’s. The brunette and younger Simpson is number one this week on Billboard’s album sales charts for her debut, “Autobiography.”
The album, in just its fourth week of release, has sold over a million copies. Last week, it sold 253,500 copies, about 6000 more than the sixteenth “NOW That’s What I Call Music” album.
Shyne made an impressive debut in third for his album “Godfather … Buried Alive.” Shyne is in jail, in the middle of a 10-year sentence.
Rounding out the top 5 are debuts from Mobb Deep and Alter Bridge.
