Michael Jackson to Appear in Court Today
Michael Jackson will make news again today, as he is scheduled to appear in a Santa Maria court. The pop singer is not required to be in court, but he will be present as his lawyers question district attorney Tom Sneddon, a longtime nemesis of Jackson.
Lawyer Tom Mesereau will question Sneddon as a witness. He will be asked about his actions before child molestations were filed against Jackson.
Jackson’s lawyers will try to prove that Sneddon violated the attorney-client privilege between Jackson and his former lawyer, Mark Geragos.
Janet Jackson, and other family members of Jackson will also attend, according to reports.
Jackson and family attended a preliminary hearing earlier this summer, where Jackson greeted fans and stood atop his car and danced.
