Alicia Keys has signed on to star in a movie, still untitled, which will be co-produced by Halle Berry.

“It’s about a classical pianist named Philippa Schuyler, who grew up in Harlem and was half black and half white,” Keys told MTV.

“It’s really a deep story, so I’m really looking forward to it. It’s still in the process of the script being written. I think this would be an incredible movie to be involved with.”

The movie has no scheduled date to begin shooting.
