Chef and Author Julia Child Passes Away at 91
Famous Author and Chef Julia Child passed away early Friday morning in her sleep at her Santa Barbara home. The cause of her death is not known. She was 91 years old.
Child hosted a TV show on PBS showing millions of viewers various tips and tricks on how to prepare regular meals. In 2001, she retired, after almost 40 years on television.
Child was also seen in other series including, The French Chef, Julia Child & Company, Cooking with Master Chefs and Julia & Jacques: Cooking at Home.
She would have turned 92 in two days. She was suffering from kidney failure, according to reports.
