One of entertainment and sports’ power couples are getting divorced. According to several reports, a spokesperson for NBA player Rick Fox says he has filed for divorce from actress and singer Vanessa Williams.

Representatives for the two would decline to give a reason.

“The most important thing to them right now is the welfare of their child,” said Staci Wolfe, Fox’s spokesperson.

Williams, the former Miss America, and Fox, the Canadian native, were married five years ago.

They have one daughter together.

Fox was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Boston Celtics with Gary Payton just last week.

Williams has starred in Shaft and Johnson Family Vacation. She was forced to resign as Miss America in 1984 when nude photos of her were published in Penthouse.
