The prosecution told a Santa Maria judge on Tuesday that Michael Jackson gave a young teenager alcohol to seduce him. This was the most the prosecution has revealed in court, and an allegation that Jackson’s attorneys called “ridiculous.”

Such allegations have been rumoured by the press, but it was the first time they were presented on the record in court. He also said Jackson got the family to go on video and say Jackson did nothing wrong.

Gordon Auchincloss, the Deputy District Attorney, described Jackson’s Nederland Ranch as something he turned into “an enormous resort and amusement park literally designed to entice and attack children.” He said Jackson seduced the boy, whose name is withheld, after Jackson was seen with the boy on a television documentary.

The boy was shown holding hands with Jackson in the British documentary, which was replayed several times in the U.S. and Canada. Jackson said he did not see a problem sleeping with young boys in a non-sexual way.

Thomas Masereau, Jackson’s lawyer said the prosecution has “bullied” witnesses and the allegations are “absurd.” Earlier in the day, the defense tried to delay the trial by four months.
