As many predicted, The Bourne Supremacy topped this weekend’s box office, racking up $53.5 million in sales. Catwoman, starring Halle Berry, was a disappointment, earning just $17.2 million in sales.

Catwoman received awful reviews from almost every critic. Some gave it less that one star, and others pondered if Berry had committed career suicide.

The Bourne Supremacy, the sequel to The Bourne Identity, stars Matt Damon. The first film opened with $27.1 million in box office sales, about half of this week’s topper.

In second was Will Smith and I, Robot, earning $22.1 million in its second week.

Fahrenheit 9/11 improved its rampage, brings its total past $100 million.
