In theaters this weekend is Matt Damon’s latest film, “The Bourne Supremacy,” a sequel to the hit “The Bourne Identity.”

Damon plays Jason Bourne, a government agent with amnesia trying to find out the secrets of his life. The government meanwhile wants to make sure he forgets.

This time, Bourne is on a worldwide chase, running from the government who arrives at the village he is living in, the same place he was at when the first film ended. He thought he had successfully hid from the government, but when his girlfriend is murdered, he realizes there’s more to this story (enough for a sequel).

Early estimates have this movie beating Catwoman, though it will be a tough race at the box office. Bourne Identity earned over $210 million at the box office and became the most rented video/DVD of last year. The first film gave Damon his first big starring hit and showed he can tackle a killer’s action role as good as the rest.

Damon’s film is getting rave reviews and hits theatres Friday.
