Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz like to keep their private life, therefore their relationship, private. They try to hide when they’re in public so the paparazzi can’t get a shot of the couple kissing, and rarely discuss, or even admit to, their relationship in interviews.

But when JT’s loyalty to his 31-year-old girlfriend was questioned, he wants the world to know that he loves her.

News of the World, a London tabloid, reported that Timberlake had an affair with another woman, model Lucy Clarkson, in London while Diaz was still in Los Angeles.

Now Timberlake wants an apology. His lawyer, Marty Singer, says that if Timberlake doesn’t get a retraction, he’s going to sue.

The tabloid quoted the model discussing their alleged sexual relations. She said she liked everything except kissing his “small” lips.

As of Friday, the paper still hadn’t apologized, but Timberlake hadn’t filed suit.

The affair was reported in the paper in January while the former ‘N Sync singer was on tour.
