Ronstadt Performs Again, Without Getting Kicked Out
“Seen any good movies lately?” That’s the question Linda Ronstadt asked a Los Angeles audience yesterday, just days after getting kicked out of a Las Vegas casino for dedicating a song to Michael Moore.
Ronstadt later received a bouquet of flowers, who she said was from the most “patriotic” man, referring to Michael Moore. She then performed “Desperado,” the song she has been dedicating to the Fahrenheit 9/11 director on her tour.
In Vegas at the Aladdin, when she praised Moore, the audience was furious, many asking for a refund, some throwing drinks in the air, many booing.
This time, her audience knew what to expect. Reports indicate that five people asked for a refund before the show, but none after.
