The next time someone tells you that you have nothing to lose from asking for a raise from your boss, cite two CSI actors as precedents. George Eads and Jorja Fox, two actors from CBS’ “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” decided that they were worth more than they were getting paid. Eads didn’t show up to work when the series began taping last week, and Fox ignored a letter asking what her plans were.

CBS head-honcho Leslie Moonves decided that a contract is a contact and the two actors were in violation of their contract by their demands, so he fired them.

Their parts have yet to be recast and there is a possibility they could return, assuming they can deal with their measly $100,000 an episode contacts.

Moonves says they were fired not because of their demands, but because they didn’t show up to work. You have to work for your money, apparently.
