Businesswoman and lifestyle guru Martha Stewart will spend five months in jail. She was sentenced today for lying about a stock sale. A judge in New York also ordered her to pay $30,000 and sentenced her to two years of supervised release.

Stewart, 62, was found guilty in March on numerous charges including conspiracy.

She faced a maximum of 16 months behind bars.

After the hearing, Stewart said, ?I’m not afraid, not afraid whatsoever.?

However, the judge delayed the jail sentence until Stewart?s lawyers could file an appeal, which is expected any day.
