Bobby Brown Released on Bail

With four hours to go before he would have faced an arrest warrant, Bobby Brown turned himself into Atlanta police Sunday night.
He was ordered to report to an Atlanta jail by Midnight. He was released on $2000 bail.
The troubles for Brown stem from a domestic argument he had in December with wife Whitney Houston. Even though Houston and Brown wanted to work things out privately, a judge ruled in May that there was enough evidence for Brown to go to trial on a misdemeanor battery charge.
Before turning himself in, Brown was in Europe where Houston is on tour. Brown faces a year in jail if convicted.
