Michael Jackson Upsets Judge
By declaring his innocence, Michael Jackson may have violated a gag order set forth by Judge Rodney Melville.
At a pre-trial hearing in Santa Maria, Melville criticized Jackson for issuing a statement that read, “I did not, and would not, ever, harm a child.”
Public information in Jackson’s child-molestation case has been minimal, especially with the gag order taking away the rights of Jackson and anyone involved to publicly discuss any part of the case.
Melville told Jackson that in the future, he must clear any statements or media releases with the court.
The next pre-trial date is set for July 27.
In other Jackson news, Tom Sneddon, the District Attorney, and longtime Jackson nemesis, will be required to testify in the future about an alleged improper raid of private investigator Bradley Miller’s office.
