Michael Moore Won’t Stop Till Bush Is Gone
Director Michael Moore has told an Australian newspaper that he won’t stop his crusade — that is, his crusade to make sure George W. Bush is not re-elected — until the elections.
“I know I can’t stop until November 2,” the day of the elections, he said.
Moore continues to publicize Fahrenheit 9/11, a documentary aimed at discrediting Bush. In interviews, he does not hold back on his thoughts on Bush. He’s been so busy making the film, then finding a distributor, then promoting it, that he doesn’t even spend time taking care of his well being.
“I went on a tour of the United States in the fall and I had upwards of 10,000 people a night in basketball arenas coming out and I realised, ?OK, look, I’ve got to do this, man. I have just got to.’ It is killing me because I take no time for myself; I take no time to take care of my health,” he told The Age at Cannes.
Fahrenheit 9/11 is the highest grossing documentary of all time.
