The trials and tribulations of Courtney Love never end. The rocker missed a court date in Los Angeles, and a warrant was issued for arrest. Turns out that Love was in New York, in a hospital, being treated for a “gynaecological medical condition.”

Her lawyer, Michael Rosenstein, told the judge that in his client’s defence, Love didn’t think she had to be present in court. The judge then said that excuse wouldn’t hold up, and set her bail at $150,000.

Photographs showed Love being put on a stretcher and into an ambulance.

“It’s a gynaecological medical condition for which she is receiving treatment,” Rosenstein said. “This is all third hand, I have not spoken with her since last night, when she complained of medical problems, had not seen doctor and as a result the situation was exacerbated.”

Was her condition a good enough excuse to miss court? Probably not. Her court date was in the morning. She was taken to hospital around 5 p.m.
