Bowie Plans Return After Heart Surgery
David Bowie underwent emergency angioplasty, but hopes to return to the stage next month.
The rock singer, whose heart surgery was necessary after doctors found a blockage, left the hospital last week.
?Can’t wait to be fully recovered and get back to work again,? he said. ?I tell you what, though, I won’t be writing a song about this one.”
His condition was originally thought to be merely a pinched nerve, but while doctors were examining him, uncovered the blockage.
Bowie, 57, is a heavy smoker. The rock legend had to cut his European tour short.
