While celebrating the fourth of July by setting off fireworks in a Food Lion parking lot in Fayetteville North Carolina, Jadakiss, driving his SUV, was stopped by police. They gave him a warning to quit throwing fireworks out of his vehicle. When the vehicle again was seen with fireworks being thrown out the window, the officers stopped and searched the car, finding a small amount of marijuana and two .45 caliber weapons. After Jada acknowledged responsibility for the vehicle, he was cited for each offense but not arrested.
Neither Jadakiss or his spokespeople could be reached for comment.
His latest album debuted at number one this week.
