Keshia Chante Debuts High
The highest debut on the Canadian charts this week, as Canada celebrates its birthday, fittingly is a rising Canadian singer. Keshia Chante?s self-titled debut album enters the chart at Number 12, higher than albums from Jadakiss and Matt Dusk, the Spiderman 2 soundtrack, and all the other new CDs.
“Under My Skin” by Avril Lavigne regains the top spot that she lost to the Beastie Boys last week (who fall to Number 2).
Jadakiss and his “Kiss of Death” album was Number 1 on the Billboard chart in the U.S.
