Big Boi, one half of Outkast, will perform as part of the Toronto Bluesfest on July 25.

This won’t be the typical rap-over-track hip-hop. When Big Boi hits the stage, expect a full band to accompnay his over-the-top rhymes.

Before Big Boi’s set, “fancy banjo” player Earl Scruggs, who has been entertaining bluegrass fans for over 50 years, will perform.

The Bluesfest takes place from July 16 to July 25 at Exhibition Place. Also performing during the festival will be Wyclef Jean, the Tea Party, and Lyle Lovett.
