Apple Launches European Music Store, Partnership With AOL
As expected, Apple Computer on Tuesday launched a version of its iTunes Music Store in the UK, France and Germany. Songs are priced at ?0.79/?0.99 each and albums are priced at ?7.99/?9.99 each. Apple said that the restrictions on music are the same as they are for the US version.
Apple has also announced a partnership with AOL for its European store where AOL Members will have one instant access to purchase songs through the AOL network. Further information is available by using AOL keyword: iTunes.
