Michael Jackson will stand trial September 13 on child molestation charges, a judge ordered Friday.

Superior Court Judge Rodney Melville said he is considering reducing Jackson’s 3 million dollar bail.

The judge said he wanted to start the case sooner, but with over 100 witnesses, that would have been difficult.

Jackson, with the judge’s permission, skipped Friday’s hearing.
