The Backstreet Boys have tentatively set October 12, 2004 as the release date for their new album.

Although still untitled, the album will be the group’s first release with new material since 2000’s “Black and Blue.”

The five group members have been in the studio since February.

Since the album release is months away, it is possible the date can change.
