Usher’s cheating on his girlfriend and having an unplanned child. Those are not just the stories in the tabloids, but they’re also the subjects on Usher’s new album, appropriately titled “Confessions.”

In recent weeks, it was reported that the R&B singer cheated on Chili from TLC, his ex-girlfriend, leading to a baby with the mistress. He admits to cheating, but says the baby rumours started after people heard the lyrics from this album.

Whatever the truth may be, “Confessions” shows Usher has grown up, and grown up a lot since he was singing “You make me wanna.” He now is acting on those wishes. He may not want your baby, but he does want some loving. “Jump in the bed and let it flow, The squeezing, holding, biting, scratching, spanking, screaming,” he sings on the Jermaine Dupri produced “Do it to Me.”

The sure-to-be-a-hit ballad “Burn,” makes his break-up public, as he explains why the relationship must end.

Die hard Usher lovers, beware- you may lose some respect for the soulster after listening to the album. He is unfaithful, he is obsessed with sex, and he’s not the ideal boyfriend.

But there’s always the hit single, “Yeah,” which will have you dancing along with Usher, not judging him.
