‘N Sync Trades Joey to BSB for Howie
In a minor roster move Thursday, Joey Fatone of ‘N Sync was traded to the Backstreet Boys for little-used singer Howie Dorough.
“We are going in a different direction and we thought Howie would be a better fit on our roster,” said Justin Timberlake, ‘N Sync’s lead singer and General Manager. “We wish Joey all the best, but we just didn’t need his high pitched squeals for the new album.”
Timberlake said the new ‘N Sync lineup will get together in 2007 to record new material. In the meantime, he will release 4 more solo albums over the next 4 years to maximize his possible earnings.
“And the dealings aren’t done yet,” he added. The trade deadline is not until later tonight at 11:59 PM.
Happy April Fools everyone
