When Evanescence’s name was announced as the Grammy winner for Best New Artist, 50 Cent walked on stage anyway. He was smiling, almost in disbelief. He’s not smiling anymore.

“I feel like I got jerked at the Grammys,” he told MuchMusic, in an interview airing today. “I don’t understand how [Evanescence] get Best New Artist.”

With a whole career left to still create albums, 50 will surely be nominated for more Grammys, but he said, “I will never go back to the Grammy Awards ever in my career.”
