Loon Says He is Innocent
Facing attempted-murder charges, Loon has proclaimed his innocence in a weekend stabbing incident in Los Angeles.
“I’m innocent, that’s first and foremost,” Loon told MTV News. “I’ll leave it at that. It’s a very unfortunate situation.”
Loon and two other men allegedly stabbed a security guard, who wouldn’t let them into a party for Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, outside the House of Blues at around 12:30 a.m. Friday.
They were held on $1 million bail. Only Loon, whose real name is Chauncey Hawkins, posted bail. He was released early Saturday morning.
According to a sergeant, they rushed the door, which lead to a security guard being stabbed in the chest multiple times, MTV reports.
Investigators are still gathering evidence to determine which of the three men allegedly stabbed the security guard, the network reports.
