One of the two founding members of Queens of the Stone still with the band has walked away, after 10 years of playing with singer/guitarist Josh Homme. Bassist Nick Olivieri has left the rock band, according to their management.

“A number of incidents occurring over the last 18 months have led to the decision that the two can no longer maintain a working partnership in the band,” said their management.

Screaming Trees member Van Conner is the new bassist according to their site.

They have also recently replaced their drummer, Joey Castillo, who had only been with the band for a few months. Replacing him is another former Screaming Trees member, Barrett Martin.
