After Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s infamous Super Bowl incident, the NFL has decided to change its policies regarding future halftime entertainment. That starts this Sunday with NFL’s all-star game, the Pro Bowl. And that means Timberlake’s fellow ‘N Sync member J.C. Chasez has been dropped from the halftime show. Fefe Dobson may have been axed as well.

Chasez was supposed to perform a few new tracks, and Dobson was to perform her new hit, “Everything,” during the halftime show in Hawaii. Instead, the halftime show will include hula dancers, drummers, conch shell blowers, and local singers.

“The commissioner said Monday morning that we will change our policies and procedures as it relates to entertainment during our games,” league spokesman Brian McCarthy told the Associated Press. “This is immediate action that reflects that approach.”

Chasez issued a statement Wednesday, saying, “No one could be more disappointed than I that the NFL has cancelled my Halftime performance at the Pro Bowl this coming Sunday. I’ve told the NFL I understand the pressure that they are under since the Super Bowl.”

There is no official word that Dobson has been dropped. The NFL was unavailable when reached by andPOP to confirm.

What do you think the NFL should have done? Was this move unfair? Talk about it in andPOP’s message board and we will send your posts to the NFL’s office.
