Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have broken up again, according to published and television reports. This time it looks like it could be for real, as a spokesperson for Lopez has confirmed the reports.

“I am confirming the reports that Jennifer Lopez has ended her engagement to Ben Affleck,” said the spokesperson, from Dan Klores Communications. “At this difficult time, we ask that you respect her privacy.”

Affleck’s publicist would not comment on the split.

The actors are in the upcoming movie, “Jersey Girl.” Affleck stars in the movie, but Lopez dies in the first 12 minutes.
