Cold Continues On After Guitarist Joins Evanescence
When Cold guitarist Terry Balsamo left the band last week and joined Evanescence, many, including Evanescence’s Amy Lee, thought Cold would fold.
Lee told an Australian web site that Cold was probably going to retire, while frontman Scooter Ward was going through rehab.
Ward was not pleased.
“I never did anything but treat her with respect, but this is the life I choose and not everything can be a secret. I just wish she would have let me tell my story when I was ready,” he wrote on Cold’s web site.
Meanwhile, he has no hard feelings for the departed guitarist.
“Terry was and is a great person, and I don’t think anyone should ever speak ill of him.”
Cold will work on a new album once they finish an upcoming tour.
