Skye Sweetnam will release her debut album “Noise from the Basement” on April 20, 2004, through Capitol Records.
The 15-year-old from Bolton, Ontario co-wrote and recorded with guitarist/bassist/keyboardist James Robertson in the basement of his parents’ home. A press release describes the songs on the album as “spunky” and “punk.”
The first single, “Number One,” will hit radio in early February. She co-wrote and co-produced the “girl-powered anthem” with Eric Valentine (Good Charlotte, Smashmouth).
