?Showcase? Your iPod In Style
Contour’s latest 3G iPod case takes on the competition using a different style than most cases. Instead of releasing a case using the standard leather or polyester designs, Contour chose to use an advanced dual-injection molding plastic and shock absorbent rubber. The final result?is a protective, elegant case that perfectly fits your iPod.
The Showcase?s case is available in white, so it naturally blends with the iPod, with a clear, protective piece over the front part of the case that provides perfect access to the iPod?s controls. The Showcase also allows you to easily connect your iPod to your Macintosh or PC by providing the user with easy access to bottom of the iPod. There is also access to the headphone port and hold button on the top of the iPod.
Think Different
As I stated earlier, this case is very different from most other cases. In addition, the thing that annoys me most about iPod cases is that they never align properly to the controls on the iPod. The Showcase isn?t like that. Not only does it align perfectly to all the controls, it even allows you to sync and charge the iPod while it is still in the case.
Another advantage to this case is the process in which you add or remove your iPod from it. The Showcase provides an easy way to do this without scratching or adding fingerprints to your player, making sure to keep that brand new look and feel.
It was hard to find something I didn?t like about this case, but I did settle on the belt clip. The clip feels like it was a last minute add-on, made of cheap plastic; and with a little pressure, it?ll snap in half. Furthermore, the locking mechanism used to secure the clip to the Showcase could easily be snapped if, for example, the case got caught on something.
Final Thought
Aside from the belt clip, I would still recommend purchasing this case. It was designed with your iPod in mind — easy access to the controls, scratch free iPod insertion and removal and shock absorbent plastic. ?Don?t just protect your iPod, SHOWCASE it!?
