Britney Spears two-day marriage to a childhood friend has officially been annulled.

A judge signed the order around noon in Las Vegas on Monday.

Spears claimed she didn’t fully understand what she was doing when she got married to childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander.

“Plaintiff Spears lacked understanding of her actions to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to the marriage,” the annulment petition said.

“There is no marriage now,” attorney David Chesnoff told The Associated Press. “Jason agreed to this completely. They’ve made a wise decision. I know they care about each other. They are friends.”

So why did they get hitched in the first place?

“We were just looking at each other and said, ‘Let’s do something wild, crazy. Let’s go get married, just for the hell of it’,” Alexander told Access Hollywood Monday morning.
