Having “Sir” added to his name is not on David Bowie’s agenda. The singer reportedly declined the honour from the Queen, according to a list published by the Sunday Times.
Bowie said he does not know what a knighthood is for and will never accept it.
Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones accepted the knighthood earlier this month, but bandmate Keith Richards called the honour a disgrace.
