Last week, a judge blocked the Source magazine from releasing and a controversial recording by Eminem, in which he raps about black women.
On Monday, the judge allowed the hip-hop publication to release up to 20 seconds of the recording, saying it fell within their right to fair use for the purpose of criticism.
Eminem had argued that releasing the recording would be a copyright infringement.
The issue hits stands January 12.
